CCPMR, officially launched in Monaco: new collaboration opportunities for Romanian entrepreneurs

The Monaco–Romania Private Connections Club (CCPMR) was officially launched on the evening of September 18, 2026, at Cinéma des Beaux-Arts – Théâtre Princesse Grace, with the aim of facilitating collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals from Romania, the Principality of Monaco, and the French Riviera.

A bridge built through connections, trust, and commitment

At the heart of this initiative is Daniel Epure, President of the Monaco–Romania Private Connections Club (CCPMR), who has transformed the vision of a Romania–Monaco business community into a joint project, supported by the commitment of its team and members.

In his inaugural speech, he emphasized that the launch marks the beginning of a long-term undertaking and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting every member, as well as those interested in joining the initiative. He explained that the organization aims to operate according to the principles of a chamber of commerce.

For Daniel Epure and the CCPMR team, the true measure of success will be what comes next: connections that become partnerships, trust that opens up investment opportunities, and ideas that turn into concrete projects.

Felix Pătrășcanu, Vice President of CCPMR, highlighted the importance of bringing together entrepreneurs from Romania and Romanians who have built businesses in the diaspora. In his view, this connection can generate both business opportunities and a valuable exchange of entrepreneurial experience and perspectives. He emphasized trust, professionalism, and the quality of partnerships, underscoring the contribution of businesses to prosperity and to strengthening relations between communities.

Bogdan Ene – Vice President of CCPMR, offered entrepreneurs practical encouragement: to take the first step without being discouraged by the complexity of the journey ahead. In this context, the Club aims to provide initial support and facilitate access to new contacts and opportunities.

Cristian Badea – Executive Director of CCPMR, explained that the Club’s mission is to connect Monaco’s business expertise with the talent, energy, and ambition of Romanian entrepreneurs seeking to expand. He emphasized the need for credible communication channels and an organized framework for collaboration. The initiative also has a cultural and identity-related dimension, aimed at strengthening ties between Romania and the Romanian diaspora.

For Andy Szekely – entrepreneur, author, and speaker, the value of such an initiative is built through face-to-face meetings, trust, and long-term commitment. Drawing on his experience in community building, he highlighted that opportunities emerge when people choose to participate and engage in dialogue. The continuity of meetings and the commitment of members are essential to transforming an event into a lasting community.

In her address, Cristina Chiriac, President and Founder of the National Confederation for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CONAF), encouraged women who wish to develop businesses to overcome the fear of taking the first step. Her message emphasized the courage to take action and the importance of cooperation between women and men in building communities and partnerships.

During the inaugural evening, lawyer and journalist Mihaela Olaru was appointed CCPMR Brand Ambassador, in recognition of her experience in law, journalism, and public communication.

Mihaela Olaru emphasized that she is taking on the role of CCPMR Brand Ambassador with a strong sense of responsibility, guided by professionalism, integrity, respect, and excellence. Through her experience in law and public communication, she aims to contribute to promoting the Club and strengthening relations between the business communities of Romania and Monaco.

The event, hosted by Mihaela Rădulescu, brought together Romanian entrepreneurs, investors, executives, professionals, and representatives of the business community in Monaco and on the French Riviera. The gathering provided a platform for strengthening international dialogue and identifying new business and collaboration opportunities.

Among the participants were Eric Pérodeau, former President of the Monaco Digital Chamber; Jean Bernard, President and Founder of Club Bentley Monaco; Iuliu Stocklosa, President of the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mariana Gillieron, President of the Romania–Switzerland Chamber of Commerce and Industry; as well as watchmaker Liviu Helter. The event was also attended by Cristina Chiriac – President and Founder of the National Confederation for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CONAF); Andy Szekely – entrepreneur, author, and speaker; and Petru Luhan – former Member of the European Parliament and CEO of EMAS.

The inaugural program continued on September 19 with a private yachting experience for sponsors and the Club’s first members, providing an additional setting for dialogue and the development of professional relationships.
