Romania Closer to Monaco. CCPMR’s First Official Event in Monaco Connects Romanian Entrepreneurs with Business Opportunities on the French Riviera.

A new private initiative aims to create one of the most active business bridges between the two countries, providing Romanian entrepreneurs with access to the economic, investment, and networking ecosystem of Monaco and the French Riviera.

CCPMR, the Monaco–Romania Private Chamber of Commerce, is preparing its official launch in Monte Carlo with an event that will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders from Romania and the Principality of Monaco.

Economic relations between Romania and Monaco are entering a new chapter with the launch of CCPMR (the Monaco–Romania Private Chamber of Commerce), a private initiative designed to transform the ties between the business communities of the two countries into a dynamic ecosystem for collaboration, investment, and international development, leveraging the prestige of the Principality of Monaco as one of the world’s most influential hubs for business, investment, and exclusive lifestyle.

Unlike organizations built solely around networking events, CCPMR embraces a far more pragmatic mission: creating connections that lead to concrete projects, investments, commercial partnerships, and genuine access to business opportunities in Monaco and across the French Riviera, in both directions.

The project brings together entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and professionals interested in developing international businesses and investments, offering access to a select community and to an economic ecosystem recognized worldwide for its stability, performance, and investment-friendly environment. During its first year of activity, the organization will operate under the name Club de Connexions Privées Monaco–Roumanie, in accordance with local regulations.

More Than Networking

The founders of CCPMR emphasize that the organization’s goal is not simply to host occasional networking events, but to build an active private business community capable of generating long-term collaborations and participation in a rich calendar of exclusive events and initiatives.

Its main objectives include:

• Facilitating Romanian companies’ access to Monaco and the French Riviera;
• Connecting investors and entrepreneurs from both countries;
• Organizing business missions and private meetings;
• Supporting commercial and investment partnerships;
• Promoting Romania within international business circles;
• Building a community of members actively involved in joint projects and initiatives.

According to the organization’s representatives, the initiative is backed by a team that, before the creation of CCPMR, helped facilitate business projects for Romanian entrepreneurs on the French Riviera with a combined value exceeding €100 million.

Official Launch on 18 September in Monte Carlo

CCPMR will make its first public appearance during the CCPMR Official Inauguration Night, taking place on 18 September 2026 at the Cinéma des Beaux-Arts – Théâtre Princesse Grace in Monte Carlo. The event has been strategically scheduled just a few days before the Monaco Yacht Show, one of the world’s leading international events dedicated to the luxury and yachting industries.

The organizers expect Romanian entrepreneurs, investors, executives, and business leaders from Monaco and the French Riviera, alongside distinguished guests, partners, and international speakers. The evening will combine economic presentations, insights into international markets, strategic networking, and artistic performances in a format that reflects the unique spirit of the Principality of Monaco.

An exclusive yacht party has also been prepared for the first members who join CCPMR before the inauguration event, as well as for sponsors.
